Job Category: Sales Location: New York, NY, US Job ID: 788467-76727 Division: Sales The NY Metro District has an immediate opening for an ATU (Account Team Unit) Manager based in NY/NJ for an existing ATU with Major and Corporate customers predominantly from the Communications and Media industries. Primary characteristics for the position include: a proven track record in sales and sales management, adding significant value through extensive and direct contact with customers, an ability to draft and implement successful sales plans by territory, an understanding of enterprise customers business and technology needs, knowledge of solution needs and how to qualify address business opportunities, a broad based demand generation experience, experience in territory management, and strong experience training, coaching and motivating both direct line sales professionals as well as broad virtual based sales professionals. The desire and ability to build highly motivated and satisfied employees is critical to the success of this role and a requirement for the position. Other requirements include strong analytical skills and working with business metrics to analyze our market opportunities, quantifying results, and providing the appropriate leadership to obtain goals. A very high level of customer satisfaction by demonstrating an ability to add value to customer relations and overall account goals will be important. A well-rounded business experience including an understanding of key industries, along with a general understanding of, and experience with, key partners and our partner ecosystem, Large Account Resellers, support and consulting services (Premier and MCS), and industry peer groups. Additional skills required include: excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple high-priority activities, strong planning expertise, the ability to tackle complex competitive threats, customer "inertia," and making the appropriate judgment calls to succeed. Qualifications should include a minimum of 7 years of demonstrated successful territory and sales management experience in the corporate environment and a minimum of 5 years demonstrated management of both Sales and technical professionals.
