Accountancy Officer
My client, a large pubic sector organisation based just outside Manchester in Swinton are looking to recruit an Accountancy Officer on a twelve month fixed term contract.
The objective of this role is to assist in the provision of financial, accounting and budgetary services to internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for budget preparation, monitoring and managing the budget, providing financial advice and support to managers and budget holders and assisting with the preparation of final accounts.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy finance function on a long term basis. To be successful in this post you will be AAT qualified or equivalent and have experience of budget preparation and accounts preparation. Excel skills are also key and you must be able to use Excel to an intermediate level.
