Position Description

This position is with the Enterprise Benefits Accounting group. The responsibilities of this position are primarily associated with the Company's Qualified Employee Benefit Plans and include supporting the following:

-All aspects of the annual audits of the Qualified Employee Benefit Plans, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and preparation of the annual Department of Labor Forms 5500.

-Review, analyzes and interprets policies and regulatory requirements to guide, direct and recommend overall accounting policy and practice. Gathers, analyzes, interprets, prepares and reconciles financial information to support the preparation of financial statements. Reviews and analyzes accounting source documents to ensure that complex transactions are correctly classified.

-Teams with senior management, Corporate Treasury, Legal and Compliance and outside service providers.

-Interfaces with external auditors in support of annual audit activities, researches emerging accounting issues, identifies and implements process improvements. Establishes, monitors, maintains and reviews internal control systems and documentation for compliance. Ensures continued compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act requirements and participates in various special projects and cross-functional teams as necessary.

A highly motivated individual with a demonstrated understanding of GAAP, an ability to manage multiple projects at one time with minimal direction. Must have excellent analytical, research and communication skills.
