Accountant
This role is one of the key members of the Finance Operations/Control team, reporting to the Team Head.
Responsibilities:
- Financial control and accounting: maintaining data integrity within the group general ledger and month-end closing activities
- Management accounting: preparing monthly local and functional management reporting packs and providing relevant key performance indicators
- Planning and control: budget, cost control and cash flow management
- Relationship management: working closely with key stakeholders such as regional heads based in Singapore, regulatory bodies and local finance teams
- Finance transformation projects work
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with experience in Big 4 auditing firms and banks/financial services organisations
- Strong interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication skills
- Team player as well as self-starter
- Confident individual who is able to challenge senior management, local finance and hub members
