Accountant
An exciting new job opportunity for a qualified accountant - ACA, CIMA or ACCA with fluent Finnish or Swedish language skills (Other Nordic languages considered) to join this well known international hi-tech business based in Camberley, Surrey.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that the companies prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS group reporting requirements for the Nordic region.
This covers a number of different businesses/legal entities in a country.
The role provides monthly, quarterly and annual accounting governance and service activities for the allocated businesses including P/L and Balance Sheet reviews and approval of final group reporting reports.
Also responsible for additional disclosure reporting review and approval; preparation of exceptional journal entries; review of provisions and impairments; reviews of customer credit ratings; and liaison across the business to maintain key control processes for the transactional accounting process.
Skills and Qualifications
Should be a qualified accountant that demonstrates strong knowledge of financial accounting and control processes in a commercial environment (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA); desirable to have worked in a financial audit function
Preferable have comprehensive experience of accounting processes and breadth of experience in a large international business.
Demonstrate staff supervision / coaching experience or have worked in project teams where cross-functional communication is required.
Good English written and spoken fluency
Swedish or Finnish (Nordic) language skill essential
This position is easily commutable from locations across Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire and is suitable for ACA, ACCA Qualified Accountants with Swedish or Finnish language ability..
