Accountant
My client is a leading financial service provider based in the City who are currently seeking a fully Qualified Accountant to join their financial control team. You will join on an initial 6 month contract and will receive up to £300 per day.
This role sits within the UK group function, specifically working with the financial control team. There are a number of ongoing projects, largely relating to reconciliations. You will have a strong understanding of monthly reconciliation processes and ledger systems, along with experience in project management. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a number of projects.
Responsibilities include:
· Lead resolution of payroll reconciliation matters within the Finance function; remediate current reconciliation gaps and establish future routines.
· Liaise with HR department as required to ensure processes embedded.
· Support other specific finance remediation: reconciliation support, process improvement, documentation preparation.
· Adhoc projects: support for current ongoing system project work and new strategic project initiatives.
· Provide support to the Financial Control team as required in respect of other general ledger postings.
· Other ad hoc financial reporting processes as required.
