Accountant – Assistant Manager recruitment

 The Client 

Our client is seeking an Accountant Assistant Manager to join their highly successful and innovative team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team involved in numerous high profile projects. The role will have a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to the following: 

The challenge 

• Managing a portfolio of clients and client relationships

• Management of a client portfolio in relation to accounting and consultancy         projects

• Ensuring client service level expectations are met and exceeded

• Management and supervision of management accounts and accounts               preparation                                               

• Supervising and reviewing of audit

• Management of multiple jobs ensuring the key objectives are delivered

• Dealing with escalated client issues from other junior members of the team

• Managing the effective and efficient execution of client assignments

• Working closely with the Audit and Accounting Manager on large scale projects/audits

The Candidate

The successful candidate should have the following: 

• Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with 2 years+ PQE

• Prior practice experience within an audit and general accounting team

• Excellent client relationship management skills

• Excellent technical and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in numerous accounting software packages

• Strong communication and leaderships skills
