Accountant Assistant recruitment
A global Exchange Traded Commodities business is looking for an Accountant Assistant to join their Finance team. This is a rare opportunity to join an entrepreneurial firm in an innovative and high growth segment of the financial industry.
The role will sit in the finance team and the incumbent will take full responsibility for weekly bank reconciliations and ensuring cash books are up to date. The individual will have full control of the sales and purchase ledger. However, the team works with a lot of entrepreneurship and flexibility and the successful applicant will also take responsibility for increasingly complex ad-hoc requests that come in from the business.
The company is looking for a candidate who has some experience in an operational accounting position in a financial services business. A mathematical or business related degree would be highly advantageous, although a candidate with relevant experience will be considered equally.
The business has a hard-working team culture and is growing rapidly in a very successful market - Exchange Traded Commodities. Recently formed, they have been expanding and are now a global business with potential to continue increasing in size and footprint, which will in turn offer a wide breadth of opportunity for the incumbent in the medium and long term.
