Overview

Deutsche Bank has built an award winning Commodities business and has pursued an expansion strategy enabling the bank to provide more complete client solutions and add value to the existing Commodities business suite. 

Your role will present you with the opportunity to add value in this environment by being part of the team responsible for ensuring the process flow from trade capture to expiry is recorded accurately in the books and records of Deutsche Bank.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will require understanding and experience of the month end Balance sheet and Profit and Loss (PL) close out process. This understanding will allow you to run the month end and any other associated tasks, projects or initiatives.

You will also be required to perform investigations following the month end close around unsubstantiated balances or unexpected movements.

Alongside your colleagues in Financial Control, you will work closely with other areas of Global Business Services (GBS) including those performing Operational Process and Reconciliation, and Risk and PL Reporting.

Furthermore close interaction with Reconciliation Utility Groups will also be required. You will liaise with our offshore partners in Mumbai and Bangalore as well as with Business Managers and trading staff.
