Accountant for European Center – Insurance – Switzerland recruitment

Our client is one of the most important insurance Group in Europe, woth a strong reputation on the Insurance market. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be working closely with the local business units within the group's Global Finance Departments.

In this position you will be responsible for accounts receivables, payables, assets and bank transactions. Furthermore this role will include the monthly closing and reporting (internal and external) process, bookings and reconciliations. Thereafter you will provide support to the business units ensuring that financial records are in compliance with accepted policies and procedures and guarantee that all financial reporting deadlines are met. Occasionally, you will help with the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures and resolve accounting discrepancies.

We expect a certified accounting qualification plus a minimum of 5 years experience with IFRS/IAS, preferably in an insurance or multinational financial services company. SAP and Lotus Notes work experience is an asset. We are looking for a flexible, persistent, pro-active and team-oriented personality with efficient and precise working methods.
