Accountant II
Company with strong national presence is looking for an Accountant for a project opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Perform Financial Statement ratio analysis, understand their trends, provide explanations, etc.
Familiarity with working with external auditors.
Preparing the deliverables and articulate on them.
Work directly with the auditors
Identify risk and act promptly to avoid any possible exposure or further ramification.
5+ years relevant accounting experience
Complete tasks with quality results by the given deadline.
Manage conflicts and/or stressing situations tactfully, avoiding unnecessary confrontations, frictions or escalations.
Ability to reconcile balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
Experience in reviewing and resolving issues in the accounts reconciliations.
Experience in reviewing Financial Statements and understanding the nature and flow of data within category.
Experience in preparing Financial Statements
Technical Experience:
Candidate should be very familiar with excel and functionalities used such as pivot, vlookups, etc.
Language Requirements:
Candidate must be fluent in writing and speaking in Spanish and English.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA a plus
Travel: Candidate should be open to travel- possible two-three times a year.
