Our Client are a leading Private Equity and Infrastructure investor, investing across the globe through an international network.
The Role
You will provide a financial and management reporting service for infrastructure fund activities in Asia including providing regular forecasts of overall business performance and support to other projects within the team. You will have a wide range of people to liaise with across the business. The role is very wide ranging.
- You will manage the fund accounting and reporting process for an Asian Infrastructure Fund. You will prepare and maintain finance records and produce accounts for the fund's LPs compliant with IFRS and LP Agreements. You will prepare fund investor reports and also manage investor draw downs and distributions.
- You will update and maintain forecast models for the quoted Plc Infrastructure business ($1bn AUM) and the Asian Fund (circa $1.4bn AUM). You will prepare annual budgets, and prepare model outputs to support a variety of business and Group projects.
- You will also liaise with outsource providers on a range of issues including administration, accounting and various ad hoc work, particularly related to the Fund's foreign entities.
- You will support processes for investments and divestments and help manage each investment by working with the Asian Infrastructure investment deal team.
- You will assist in structuring and processes on new investment vehicles.
- You will prepare carry allocation calculations and also prepare financial records and accounts for carry entities and assist with a range of remuneration processes.
- There will be a number of financial and operational projects for the infrastructure business.
The Candidate:
They are ideally seeking the following:-
- A graduate newly / recently qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent).
- Exposure / knowledge or practical experience of fund and partnership accounting and processes within a Private Equity or Financial Services environment.
- Exposure / knowledge or practical experience of financial accounting, including tax and multi-currency transactions.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Confident communicator, able to present complex information to various levels of seniority. You will be able to multitask and be a results driven person.
Relevant Infrastructure experience / exposure would be ideal but is not necessary.
