JOB PURPOSE RESPONSIBILITY:
Incumbent oversees accounting and record keeping activities and guides less experienced staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
College degree in Accounting, or related field required. Prefer incumbent to have CPA.
EXPERIENCE:
Two or more years of accounting experience required.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS:
Thorough knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, practices and requirements as well as District, State Federal laws and regulations as they relate to the incumbent's field of operations.
Ability to operate computers, accounting software, calculators, ten-key by touch, microfiche readers, and general office equipment.
Ability to interact with various levels of personnel and communicate both orally and in writing.
Ability to coordinate and oversee the activities of less experienced personnel.
Professional, pleasant and helpful working attitude.
