Job Duties:
We are looking for an intuitive, detail-oriented Accountant that is interested in a long-term career opportunity. The Accountant will perform duties required to analyze the financial performance of the company, create reports that assist management in the decision making process, and perform day-to-day accounting operations.
- Balance the bank statements and reconcile them to the general ledger totals.
- Prepare daily cash report.
- Maintain and update monthly fixed asset activity utilizing SAGE FAS system.
- Cross train as backup for the daily application of cash to customer accounts receivables.
- Reconcile financial accounts by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Prepare quarterly sales use tax forms and reconcile the activity to the General Ledger.
- Prepare customer invoices for consignment sales, consolidated monthly billing, installment billing and other miscellaneous invoicing.
- Prepare special financial reports and charts by collecting, analyzing, summarizing financial information trends, utilizing the company ERP system and Data Warehouse.
Requirements:
· Bachelors Degree in Accounting
· Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
· Experience with ERP software
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Must have a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
· Two to Three years of prior related experience
