Finance Operations Manager – Insurance 75k (permanent)

This is a new role and a pivotal one, reporting to CFO and will sit at the same level as one other within Finance. The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows :Review internal controls and end to end processing of Financial Operations area, establish a clear control framework, manage treasury, bank, AP, AR and reconciliations. Take ownership of Oracle Financials to ensure maximum reporting benefit is achieved. The successful candidate will have worked in a role at this level previously and will have strong staff management experience and will lead a more junior team , manage their work and deadlines as well as continually develop and improve processes. Projects MI Analytics Manager – Specialism – Insurance – 70-90k perm

Reporting to the Head of Insurance, this is a newly created role, and is open to Qualified Accountants with 7-10 yrs PQE. As the title suggests the role has responsibility for production and development and improvement of MI. In addition the role will assume responsibility for Solvency II preparedness. The role will require strong level of excel and exposure to modelling due to analytical nature of the position. Ad hoc projects will form part of this role and therefore the successful candidate will need to demonstrate past ownership of projects spanning various business areas.

Financial Analyst – Insurance  - 40-52k – Strong IT systems bias

This is a newly created role with an Insurer based in Dublin – Ideally we are looking for a late January start. Our Client have recently implemented Oracle and this role will work closely with both IT Finance in ensuring reporting is operating at its best, that data is accurate. It is essential that the candidate have a good IT Finance mix to their experience. We have left the qualification open as they do not necessarily have to be an accountant, however they would need a strong understanding of reporting within finance.  Applications open to business analysts, financial analysts, accountants, provided they have insurance experience.

Senior Financial Accountant – Banking Long Contract 65 – 70k

This is a replacement role while current incumbent moves to a project based role. Initially the role will run for 12 months. It is vital that the candidate will hit the ground running therefore exposure to Banking is essential. Exposure to Financial reporting is a must have as well as strong team leadership exposure. The role covers all aspects of monthly management accounts and contribution reports, annual financial reporting, reports to Group. The role requires a candidate who is  technically strong.

Investment Accountant – Reinsurance (12 month contract, with potential for a perm hire for the right individual) Circa 35-47k

This is a replacement role within the organisation, supporting an Investment Manager of 13 years. This role offers excellent learning opportunities for relevant candidates. Ideally you will be either almost qualified or recently qualified with exposure to investments and an interest in same. The role will involve month end (which is more of a control environment), lots of ad hoc reporting on market movements, analysis and projections. The role will also offer opportunity to present findings at senior level. Strong excel is essential within the role.
