Expanding NYC based Retailer/ Wholesaler has opportunity for exp'd Sr Acct to provide fin analysis, planning acctg support. Excellent opportunity for a driven resourceful accrg pro w/exp in retail/wholesale industries.Resp incl:analyze, close explain period end sales, gross profit or expense variances to mgmt help initiate actions to correct variances/improve results. Developmnt of fin plans to support operational strategic decisions/opportunities. Analyze info related to inventory shrink through data mining. Various assignments, tasks, or projects as requested by mgmt. Must have understanding of taxes (Income, Sales Use, Mileage, etc.).Exp should include at least 5 yrs acctg fin reporting in retail environment. Strong analytical leadership skills required.
