Qualifications:

Responsible for:

?The primary function of this position is to ensure accurate and timely reporting and reconciliation of key Balance sheet accounts for SPG/FCD, including Volume Rebates, Sales Commissions, Bonus, Vacation, incentive reserves, etc.
?Active communication and cooperation with Group Controller, Plant and Corporate accounting and non-accounting professionals is required in order to facilitate comprehensive accounting and financial reporting.
?Comprehensive understanding of the Groups' integrated accounting systems is vested with this position as a means of supporting key management decision-making processes.

Duties Responsibilities:

Diversified responsibilities include advanced monthly accounting and closing activities, account analysis and reserve forecasting, advanced accounting system comprehension and maintenance. Internal financial reporting and analysis, process improvement initiation, audit and taxation compliance support, internal control development / maintenance and participation / management in accounting related projects. Participation and coordination in financial analysis assignment / matters.

Lead Analyst for SGA Spending (Combined $67 M) and Cognos Administrator for SPG/FCD and responsible to lead SGA Budgeting for SPG/FCD

Lead Internal Audit Compliance reporting for SPG/FCD and coordinate the completion of action plans and open items. Ensure proper internal controls and compliance with SGC/EPG policies and procedures and work with Plant Controllers to organize self-assessments and self-audit programs for plants. Support plant audits by Internal Control Services and external auditors.

Other duties such as:
oAssist in the development of financial results supporting major capital investments.
oReview required physical inventories of plant inventory and fixed assets.
oAd hoc analysis as required by CT and/or SPG management.
oProvide financial analysis support for assigned New Product Development Decisions.

Knowledge:

oBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
oFour to six years experience in general accounting reporting in an operating environment desired.
oExperience with integrated accounting systems is desired; SAP, BPCS, Frontier
oVery effective communication skills (verbal and written) a must.
oIn addition to analytical and quantitative skills, a demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
oDemonstrated experience in working on multi-functional project teams. Strong attention to details is required for this
oA strong emphasis should be put on knowledge of management accounting, cost and inventory accounting, and GAAP and IFRS Accounting Policy
oAnalytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the groups financial results
oStrong IT aptitude to deliver effective desktop reporting (paperless web-enabled environment), utilize business warehouse tools and MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations as well as BPCS and SAP ERP knowledge and COGNOS based budgeting application.
oExcellent communication and presentation skills are required
oExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across plant and functional organizations.
