Accounting Analyst recruitment
Financial Services firm seeks an Accounting Analyst for the finance team, reporting to the VP of Accounting Reporting. The position is a member of the finance team responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial and accounting records for the Company and its subsidiaries. This position performs responsibilities related to US Statutory and UK financial reporting requirements for the company.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Gather and analyze finacial data from the General Ledger and the data warehouse using Business Objects for inclusion in year end quarterly , STAT and UK GAAP financial statements
-Prepare quarterly and annual notes to financial statements
-Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested using the General Ledger and Business Objects
Qualifications
-Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with G/L operations and software. Knowledge of Business Objects Oracle preferred
