Accounting and Fees Servicing – Apprentice recruitment

Linked to Accounting Fees Servicing department, Fees servicing (7 people) is in charge to the ‘end to end’ Revenue Chain:

- Ensure quality and consistency on whole revenue chain from the product take-on to the cash recovery , going through revenue calculation, booking and invoicing;

-Process yearly, half yearly, quarterly and/or monthly closings (incl. involvement in Account Audit Review)

-Ensure complex revenue Calculation treatment: Structured Finance, Investment Solutions (Asset Management Service Invoicing on behalf AXA Insurance Companies;

- Propose Process improvement Actions in closed relation with all different stakeholders (Legal, Product Engineering, Product Pricing, Tax, AXA IM Subsidiaries, Distribution department, Clients, …)

- Improve/ensure revenue data quatility and reliability revenues from up stream data providers

- Perform/Monitor global fee sharing process (transfer pricing issue) between AXA IM entities towards services defined by AXA IM ie Distribution, Fund Management and operations) and perform annually fee sharing Calculation Keys;

1.        Reporting to the Head of Fees Servicing, your main responsibilities will be the following:

n       Support the month-end closing process in close cooperation with Fees Servicing Team ( one scope in charge – to be defined);

n       Involve in IM monthly reporting deliveries ;

n       Perform some reconciliations between different internal systems : Analyze, identify explain variances and define a actions plan;

n       Monitor and follow up the actions defined in Projects Actions Plan;

n       Develop process improvements to maximize efficiencies in the department.

n       Design/Produce new reportings/KPIs to communicate on team’s deliverables;

n       Act as back-up when it’s necessary during team members’ out of office;

2.        What sort of profile are we looking for?:

n       Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent – BAC + 5;

n       Background in financial accounting (technical accounting knowledge and process/control focus);

n       Able to understand IM business (Asset Management ) and work in a complex environment;

n       Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently;

n       Able to work under pressure and with good attention to detail;

n       Be flexible, accurate, detail and deadline oriented;

n       Contribute to the ongoing improvements of the team’s systems and processes;

n       Possess systems proficiency to include Excel, Coda, Access , Word and eventually Hyperion Essbase;

n       English is mandatory;

n       Demonstrate good communication skills.
