Accounting Assistant Job in Mt Holly 08060, New Jersey US

A Southern New Jersey construction firm is looking to hire someone 3-4 days a week as an accounting assistant. This part-time accounting position is responsible to provide support to the accounting department, including accounts payable and billing.

Responsibilities:
    * Works as a team with other support staff
    * Process monthly contract bills and A/R invoice entry
    * Accounts receivable collection calls
    * Enter vendor invoices and ensure timely disbursement of checks
    * Special projects
    * Assist in answering phones
    * General filing
    * Other duties as assigned
    

Education and Skills:
    * Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented work environment
    * Must be flexible and have the ability to prioritize a diverse workload
    * Detail oriented
    * Have a willingness to learn new tasks
    * Construction experience is a plus
