Job Summary
To assist the Accounting Manager with the financial accounting and accounting reports for our Asia Pacific region (excluding Japan). This includes assisting with monthly close, annual audits, employer filings, and paying vendors on a timely basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process approved vendor payments throughout the month to avoid penalties and record the vendor invoices and payments in Accounts Payable in the accounting system
- Accurately prepare weekly and monthly client reports
- Timely preparation and submission of Stamp Duty documents to the Stamp Duty office
- Assist with the monthly financial preparation (i.e. bank reconciliations, close schedules, etc.) at the end of every month
- Assist with monthly reconciliations and detailed analysis for Prime Brokerage accounts
- Coordinate the office administration tasks including pantry and stationary ordering, management of mail and courier packages
- Assist with organizing staff functions and hotel bookings
- Assist with submitting and collecting HK Visa Immigration documents

- Excellent communication skills, English is essential
- Willingness to learn and develop Accounting and Business knowledge
- Responsible, trust worthy and autonomous with an excellent personality
- Approaches problems with solutions and takes decisive action
- Ability to manage resources effectively within budget and time constraints
- Accountable and responsible for professional and personal behaviors, actions and responsibilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with Sage or Accpac an advantage
- Prior experience and knowledge of computerized accounting systems would be beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
