Job Description:
Immediate need for an Accounting Assistant seeking a professional environment with a stable company. Positive and upbeat attitude, detail-oriented and ability to work in a team environment will be keys to success. Will be responsible for:
A/R collections (phone calls, faxing statements, etc.).
Place customer delinquent accounts for collections.
Verifies and posts details of accounts transactions totals to ledgers or spreadsheets and databases.
Codes data for input to financial data processing systems according to company procedures.
Respond to inquiries from customers and vendors, and researches/resolves outstanding credit issues.
Assist in the implementation of new credit policies/procedures.
Maintain credit invoice and supporting documentation files on all invoices, credit memos, and related documents.
Assists accounting manager in preparing documents for account analysis.
Assists with monthly reconciliations
