We are a small growing distribution company looking for an experienced accounting clerk willing and prepared to develop into an Office Manager/Accounting Manager/Controller.

 

Job Purpose:

 

This position will begin as accounting support to include entering payables and receivables, cutting checks, handling warranty related transactions and credits. 

In addition, producing daily and weekly reports for management.

With the right employee this position could turn into a management position as an Office Manager/Controller.

MAS 90/200 is preferred but not required.

 

Duties:

* Prepares work to be processed by gathering, sorting, and organizing data and documents.

* Maintains journals and ledgers by verifying, correcting, and posting transactions.

* Balances accounts by proofing transactions.

* Pays accounts by issuing checks.

* Prepares statements by assembling, verifying, and entering transactions.

* Captures costs by allocating and recording expenditures.

* Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Experience with MAS 90/200, Analyzing Information, Attention to Detail, Organization, General Math Skills, Tracking Budget Expenses, Integrity, Financial Software, PC Proficiency, Quality Focus, Productivity
