Hays is representing an international company in Brussels that is looking for an accountant with good analytical skills and previous experience in an international environment.

As an accountant with controlling experience, you will be in charge of the general financial activities of 2 entities including, VAT declaration, statutory reporting, monthly controllership reviews and stock inventory. Part of your responsibilities will also be to perform financial analysis of balance sheet accounts and participate in yearly pre-close.
To be considered for this role you need to have a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience in an international company as well as strong analytical skills and previous experience in process improvements. You also need to demonstrate proficiency in US GAAP and BE GAAP. In terms of languages, you need to be fluent in French and English with very good knowledge of Dutch.
