The Management Supervisor/Account Director maintains overall responsibility for agency performance and the well being of the agency/client relationship on a particular client focused team at the Plano office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
- Lead the account management staff on a specific client focused team.
- Plan study of work problems and procedures such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, etc.
- Maintain close interaction with executives and other management.
- Responsible for the client’s brand development: direction of brand integration into all aspects of client’s business.
- Accountable for account management functional staff utilization on all accounts.
- Responsible for accounts receivable monthly tracking and analysis.
- Forecast revenues and agency costs.
- Develop budget to support agency/team objectives and plans.
· Provide assistance related to agency/team/management policies and practices.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Preferred background and knowledge requirements:
Qualifications sought in successful candidates include the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
Minimal background and knowledge requirements:
- Consumer Package goods experience required.
- Eight or more years of account management, brand management, marketing, or related experience required.
- Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
- Must have prior experience in a multi-faced and fast-paced environment.
- Must display strong organizational and interpersonal skills with in the office and outside the office when meeting with perspective clients.
- Must be personal computer proficiency, specifically spreadsheet, word processing, database, Internet, and email applications.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
· Occasional long, irregular hours when having to meet deadlines for clients.
· Occasional traveling to meet with clients, and some overnight stay when meeting with out of state clients.
· Use of a PC, computer terminal and/or telephone over 6 hours a day.
· Occasional bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing, and/or reaching to access job-related materials.
SCOPE LEVEL:
Independent Judgement/Autonomy: This position has broad organizational goals and objectives, which are reviewed annually.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position is responsible for supervision of all personnel in a functional area or department.
Interpersonal Responsibility: This position Interacts with all levels within the organization and has frequent external contacts. Must be able to convince others with opposing views to accept/approve.
