ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Major Chicago Area Packaging Company
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years industry experience
- MS Office literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with month end financial close process including inventory valuation and accrual accounting.
- Strong work ethic and desire to make improvements in current processes
- Familiarity with systems Administration tasks helpful
Key Tasks:
· Implements plant wide reporting systems for perpetual inventory and shop floor transactions
· Reports daily and weekly metrics to monitor business performance
· Recommends procedures to expand use of company ERP software system.
· Job performance and cost analysis
· Supervises accounts payable and billing processes
· Balance sheet account reconciliations and monthly close adjustments
· Responsible for coordinating inventories including year-end audited counts.
