Accounting Manager

Manage, develop, coordinate and control all Accounting and Business Systems activities of the Fayetteville plant and Service Centers. Ensure policies, procedures, systems, and controls for the recording and reporting of financial operations are adhered to without deviation. Maintain effective and open communication with all departments to enhance teamwork and profitability. Participate in the preparation of rolling forecasts, profit plan and strategic plan. Interpret and prepare analysis of operating results versus plans and forecasts as requested. Participate in formulation of any required corrective actions. A. Direct the Accounting Organization in accordance with generally accepted procedures and Corporate policy related to: maintaining financial accounts and records, preparing and issuing of statements, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, evaluating and accounting for all inventories, and administering retention and disposition of plant records. B. Manage and direct the Business Systems department in a manner to ensure correct, concise and timely information to other plant functions. Coordinate the development of new systems and the modification of existing systems to meet plant and Division objectives. C. Interpret and prepare analysis of operating results versus plans and forecasts as requested. Participate in formulation of any required corrective actions. D. Implement and evaluate the effect of the Accounting and Business System's changes in practice and/or procedure as required by changes within the plant or division's operations, or as disseminated by Corporate Headquarters. E. Review all of the plant's statements and reports with the Plant Controller for his/her aid of the corrective action to be taken when identifying significant problems. F. Develop, guide, motivate, and train efficient and effective individuals to meet plant and division objectives. Provide highly qualified replacements for other departments in the division and business unit. G. Maintain creditability and reliability in financial and informational data furnished to plant management for use in decision making. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting or Finance function Authorized to work in the US Position Criteria: -Must have broad business knowledge and Experience in all phases of business operations, including management and non-management in all areas of Planning, Accounting and Systems -technical and theoretical knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Systems, and a thorough understanding of corporate policies and procedures. -Excellent Computer skills Preferred Qualifications: Must exhibit good business acumen amd writing skills
