Accounting Manager Job in Houston 77002, Texas US
Accounting Manager needed for downtown Houston law firm; Good salary plus Bonus; Employer Paid Benefits (Medical, Dental, Life, LTD, 401K), paid parking;
Duties include: responsible for Accounts Payable/Receivable, Client Trust Accounting, financial statements, budgets, design and produce financial management reports, bank reconciliations, soft costs (copy charges, long distance, etc.), calculate case expenses; calculate and prepare settlement statements; manage 1099´s, payroll, employee deductions (Paychex), Manage FSA and 401K/Profit Sharing, assist with annual workers compensation audit, and credit card reconciliations. Work with accounting firm on taxes and financial management issues.
Job Requirements: Accounting degree preferred. Law firm experience a plus, plaintiff law firm experienced desired. Knowledge of Excel, Word, Access needed. Client Profiles and SQL strongly desired. Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish and English)
Other Details: Ability to work well in a group setting must be flexible and willing to handle a wide variety of tasks.
