Accounting Manager Job in Houston 77064, Texas US
Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting functions including monthly financial statement preparation, payroll administration accounts payable, cash flow management, cost analysis, budget planning and implementation, forecasting, banking management and financial reporting to facilitate corporate goals and objectives. Administer and coordinate the 401(k) and defined benefit plans and negotiate/renew all company insurances (GL, PL, WC). Participate in the development and planning of policies, goals, and objectives and strongly contribute to the continued success of this highly-successful physician-owned organization!
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
· At least five years private/corporate accounting experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
· Prior supervision/management experience
· Small business experience with broad general accounting knowledge
· Strong organizational skills
· Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in major accounting software solutions including advanced Excel formulas and pivot tables
· Competency with PowerPoint
PREFERENCES:
· CPA certification
· Medical practice accounting experience
