Accounting Manager Job in Spartanburg 29301, South Carolina US
The Accounting Manager oversees the Accounting, Human Resources, IT and Facility Management functions. The Accounting responsibilities include analyzing the financial information, supervising staff and submitting financial data to the Profit Center Manager and various Corporate Departments. The Human Resources responsibilities include conducting new employee orientation, facilitating employee corrective actions, maintaining employee guidelines and conducting employee exit interviews. The IT responsibilities are to oversee the third party vendor and IT administrator. The Facility Management duties include overseeing the grounds to make sure they are maintained by building management and supplies are ordered by staff. The Accounting Manager maintains and promotes the positive environment of the office by making sure we are in compliance with corporate guidelines and processes.
Required Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills must include Excel, Outlook, Word.
- Multi-tasking and management experience.
- Must possess a strong sense of urgency, demonstrate a willingness to hold themselves and others accountable and be committed to achieving success in their own career.
- Accounting Degree Required.
- Insurance Accounting experience a plus.
Salary Range: Negotiable based on Experience
