Accounting Manager – Real Estate Investor
JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client is one of the worlds largest Real Estate Investment firms headquartered in Southern California, with assets under management of circa $25billion. The business focuses on large commercial Real Estate across the Americas and has grown considerably over the past 5 years to become a business rivaling the leading investors in the world. The company is looking to recruit an Accounting Manager to work in their corporate accounting team based in Orange County. The role is looking to pay up to $100k for the correct candidate and reports directly to the Corporate Controller.
The main responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to;
- Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports under USGAAP
- Preparing monthly financial statements for multiple operating entities and managing strategic financial issues
- Assisting in the management of the global budgeting and consolidated financial reports process
- Financial modeling and analysis
- Developing effective financial and management reports for Senior Management
- Effective management and communication of cash flow related issues
- Keeping up to date with accounting standards and policies
- Managing the annual audit process
- Supervision and training of staff
- Analysis of operating budgets
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 6 years work experience in a related field (Private Equity, Real Estate, Investment Management)
- Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 4 years progressive management responsibility
