Closely assisting the Head of the Accounting Section, you will be responsible for maintaining our accounts in SAP, whilst ensuring adherence to financial rules, instructions and agreed accounting standards and policies. This will involve preparing statements and periodic reports, reconciling budgets with financial accounts, monitoring project expenditure and overseeing investments and bank deposits, giving you plenty of variety and challenge. At the same time, you will have an important part to play in implementing SAP packages and enhancements, maintaining business process documentation and providing accounting training, so you can expect a high profile within the organisation.
Of graduate calibre and professionally qualified as an accountant, you will bring extensive experience of financial accounting. In particular, you will be skilled in month end and year end closure of accounts, knowledgeable regarding Enterprise Resource Planning (especially SAP) and well versed in the Microsoft Office suite. Finally, knowledge of International Public Sector Accounting Standards would be a major advantage, but is not essential.
Attractive employment conditions are offered, in terms of salary, comprehensive benefits including health and social welfare provision, and extensive relocation assistance if applicable.
