Randstad has an immediate opening for a direct hire position in the downtown Nashville area for an Accounting Operations Assistant with a local investment firm. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, recent graduate's in accounting support, must have a BA or BS in Accounting, along with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office computer skills. The roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: manually reconciling portfolios between client portfolio accounting system (APX) and custodian statements; provide administrative functions such as statement receipt, printing, and collating statements with APX reports Track reconciliation status; provide feedback to management to identify problem areas; providing online and Bloomberg research for corporate action details, security information and pricing; preparing and distributing of trade notifications; as well as maintaining Security Information and Price files. ~Strong understanding of portfolio accounting practices, reporting and trading a plus

~Intermediate to Advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Office Suites
