Accounting Reporting Project Manager (Job Number: 1309845)
Description
The incumbent will work with senior management to coordinate and manage complex projects. Technical knowledge and comfort with our on-line product and regulatory reporting services and the ability to explain these capabilities to current and prospective clients is the largest component of this position. S/He will have oversight of critical projects that directly impact clients and that involve multiple other business groups. S/He will work in conjunction with management on various projects that may have an impact on the entire division. S/He will provide detailed training to supervisors and managers on advanced subject matter and serve as an interdepartmental SME on high-level projects. S/He will use her/his significant technical skills to provide unique customized solutions to existing and prospective clients.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree with concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred. In depth knowledge of securities/trust accounting is very important. Extensive knowledge of our on-line reporting tool, Workbench, is critical for this position. Additionally, detailed knowledge of FASB, GASB, Form 5500, and other regulatory reporting is critical. S/He must be expert with PC applications and our core on-line systems and information delivery tools. S/He must possess superior analytical and communication skills and be able to work completely independently and under significant pressure. S/He must be extremely detail and control-oriented with a complete command of the risks of our business. S/He must have superb leadership/management skills in order to properly motivate staff that does not report to him/her and to deal effectively with other internal groups and clients s/he may not know well. This position requires 10+ years of relevant securities/trust and business analysis/project experience. Prior management experience is a plus.
