The Role:
This London team is looking for a qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant with accounting/finance experience gained in practice to join their busy central London practice.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for providing outsourced services to a range of large national and multi-national clients.
Responsibilities include;
- Preparing financial statements
- Providing skilled accounting resources on secondment to clients
- Book-keeping
- Preparing management accounts
- Advising cross-border clients on statutory accounting requirements
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA or ACCA with at least two years post qualification experience in professional practice environment (preferably middle market).
- Graduate
- Highly professional attitude to providing a quality service in a deadline driven environment.
- Self motivated with strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting standards including ability to work from first principles.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Successfully deal with “clients in a mess”.
- Very good working knowledge of UK GAAP and some awareness of US GAAP and IFRS.
- IT literate, ideally with some experience of accounting packages and very good excel spreadsheet skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility in changing client demand environment.
