Accounting Specialist Job in Sumter, South Carolina US

Performs daily balancing of the general ledger, which includes research, follow up, corrections and maintenance. Reconciles general ledger accounts for certification. Reconciles all balance sheet accounts and bank accounts; perform research, follow up and makes corrections necessary to correct balances and complete reconciliations. Posts transactions, balances and closes subsidiary ledgers. Analyzes and verifies internal consistency, completeness, and arithmetic accuracy of general ledger account detail and makes necessary adjustments. Perform any other administrative duties as assigned.
