We currently have an Accounting Supervisor position available at our Corporate Headquarters - Boise, ID. Overview: Under minimal supervision, analyze, classify, and review complex accounting transactions and interrelationships. Prepare interpretation of accounting results and advise management. Identify complex accounting problems, research solutions, and correct problems. Examine financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements and principles. Is a technical lead and may have project lead responsibilities. Responsibilities: ?Classify and/or review recording of routine to complex accounting transactions. ?Analyze complex accounting relationships; and prepare and/or review interpretation of accounting results and provide management with interpretation of the results. ?Examine a variety of financial statements and documents for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with accounting requirements. ?Prepare projections of accounting data to show effects of proposed changes on income and financial condition. ?Ensure that systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies, acceptable accounting practices, and applicable regulations. ?Suggest, recommend, and implement changes to accounts, reports and administrative or data processing systems. ?Identify accounting problems, research possible solutions, and form conclusions to present to management or other interested parties. ?May be assigned specialized segment of accounting system. ?May supervise staff of nonexempt accounting and lower level accountant positions. Experience/Education: ?Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university. ?Eight plus years related experience and/or training. ?Possess and apply comprehensive understanding of the concepts, practices and procedures relating to the field of accounting. ?Demonstrated understanding of personal computers and uses in producing financial data. ?Excellent research, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills required. ?Ability to apply accounting principles, theories, and analytical skills to solve the most complex accounting problems. ?Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ?Ability to create and present management presentations. ?Previous supervisory experienced preferred.
