We have partnered with a growing and stable healthcare organization in their search for a General Ledger Accounting Supervisor. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for general accounting and internal controls. Heavy month-end close responsibilities include the coordination and oversight of the monthly/quarterly/yearly close processes, G/L account reconciliations and analysis, and detailed financial analysis.
- Responsible for supervising and developing the accountants to ensure quality and productivity with the department.
- Act as a liaison between the business unit and Corporate Finance.
- Analyze monthly operating expenses and provide executive summary reports to management for each of the pharmacies and corporate.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget.
- Manages the productivity and efficiency analysis for all aspects of the business, as needed.
- Prepares a variety of ad-hoc accounting reports and analysis as required.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements:
The qualified candidate will hold a Bachelor in Accounting. A CPA of CPA candidate is preferred. This also requires a minimum of 6 years progressively responsible related experience, including management experience. Public accounting is a plus. In addition, someone who has experience with automated accounting systems will be a plus.
