Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in Algona, WA, which is a suburb of Seattle. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium and heavy-duty truck parts sold under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck manufacturing divisions and PACCAR Parts service parts division with high quality components, subassemblies and specialized services. Dynacraft has two manufacturing facilities in Algona, WA and Louisville, KY.

Requisition Summary

This person will interact closely with various departments within the corporate headquarters and personnel throughout the Controllers’ organization.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable and Cash - Cash processing is a centralized function at Corporate and is supported by a staff of one. Ensure accuracy of the data by reviewing daily cash and Accounts Receivable subsidiary reports, assist with resolving cash application issues and provide guidance to staff. Responsible for retaining, mentoring and motivating staff as well as having the system administrator role for the Accounts Receivable system.

Fixed Assets – Ensure accuracy of fixed assets through review and providing assistance to staff. Generate executive fixed asset reports such as Capital Status report at month-end. Assist and review capital project submissions as well as perform audit reports of completed capital projects. Coordinate fixed asset physical inventory reviews for all plants and perform impairment analysis if applicable. Assume responsibility of the Fixed Asset system administrator role. Interact with Operations to provide policy guidance.

General Accounting – Assist with the month-end responsibilities including coordinating workflow, preparing and reviewing various journal entries, analyzing key accounts and uploading results to the global consolidation application. Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounts reconciliations and analytical reports. Assist with quarterly and annual filings by providing preparation support as needed. Support various initiatives such as the upgrade of the General Ledger and reporting automation project.

SOX / Internal Control – Manage and coordinate the Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal Control Audit programs. Develop and refine audit programs, conduct training, serve as a facilitator for audit reviews, present to the Internal Control Steering Committee and work with department managers to implement control solutions.
