Description:

Translates the monthly raw material cost forecast into a financial forecast.

Reconciles and explains the differences between raw material forecasts and actual costs experienced on the ledger.

Works closely with the purchasing, accounts payable, and plant accounting teams to ensure the financial integrity of the procure-to-pay process.

Functions as the Accounting Subject Matter Expert for the SAP procure-to-pay implementation.

Handles the accruals for vendor rebates and various purchasing agreements.

Independently monitors and transacts outside mixing material movements.

Forecasts and explains variances to forecast for outside mixing costs.

Contributes to the setting of annual standard costs.

 

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. A minimum of two to five years of accounting experience is required. CPA, CMA, MBA, and SAP experience is a plus. Must have a strong balance of technical interpersonal skills as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making. Candidate should be capable of being a future leader at Cooper and able to challenge the status quo. Requires advanced knowledge of Excel.
