Are you looking for an Accounts and Purchase Ledger Clerk job near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk?

 

Our client within the construction industry is looking to recruit an Accounts and Purchase Ledger Clerk role at their offices near Bury St Edmunds.

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain supplier and subcontractor records

• Input invoices and receipts

• Maintain tax records and report to Inland Revenue

• Act as payroll clerk to when required to cover for absences and annual leave

• Assist and provide information for managers as requested

• Assist in placing and ordering materials

• Report incidents, accidents and defects

 

You will have previous Purchase Ledger and accounts experience.  You will also have strong Excel skills, be numerate and be able to work using your own initiative. You will have good IT skills, a confident telephone manner and possess the ability to work to a deadline. You will be motivated and enthusiastic with an outgoing personality; able to work as part of a team.
