Accounts Assistant
Accounts Admin, Newry - Part Time / Permanent
Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of a local business that has shown significant growth. Due to this growth they are looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join their team. This will be a busy role and will suit a candidate with accounts admin experience and excellent attention to detail
Key activities to include
· Accounts administration
· Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers and all relating documentation
· Preparing bank lodgements
· Reconciling Bank Statements/Credit Card Statements
· Preparing monthly reports for senior management and shareholders
· Updating cash flow information on a regular basis
· Updating overheads information on a monthly basis
· Preparing VAT documentation
· Credit Control
· Stock Control
· Cover receptionist and housekeeping duties as and when required
· Sales procedures
· Any other general administration duties including filing and photocopying
Essential Criteria
· Min 2 years (current) working sage experience
· Good standard of English and Maths (both written and spoken)
· MS Word/Excel essential
· Good communication Interpersonal skills
· Ability to work using their own initiative
