ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT SEMI SENIOR BOOKKEEPER JOB WORKING WITH AN ESTABLISHED ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE FIRM IN THE SOUTHAMPTON AREA

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced practice accounts assistant to join one of the area's leading accountancy firms.

Key responsibilities will be to prepare management accounts and VAT returns from source information, to include data entry and bookkeeping.

It is likely that the successful individual will be AAT qualified (or equivalent) ideally with a good working knowledge of Sage software. Work experience gained in a client or customer facing environment would be advantageous and experience gained in accounting, audit or financial services would be a distinct advantage. Good Excel skills and excellent communication skills are essential and a working knowledge of Word and Powerpoint would be an advantage.
