Hays Accountancy Finance are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work for a successful and expanding family run business in the West Hull area.
Supporting the Finance Director, you will be primarily responsible for running the purchase ledger, processing up to 300 complex invoices per month, but other duties will include pre payments, accruals, journals, intercompany transfers, bank reconciliations and covering for the sales ledger / credit control clerk.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a number two to a Finance Director covering a variety of duties to trial balance.

Experience of Sage would be an advantage.
