Accounts Assistant recruitment
Our midtown Manhattan-based client is a fast-growing energy commodity trading house with a focus on the Oil (crude and refined) markets.
Due to expansion they are seeking to make an additional hire into their finance team. The generalist accounting position will be responsible for the swift and accurate management of transactions, payments, invoices, bank statements and internal/external relationships. This junior / entry-level role will involve coordinating the firm’s Month End/Quarter End/Year End activities, Cash Management/Treasury and Accounting functions.
The successful candidate will be a bright and pro-active teamplayer with at least 1 years’ relevant experience in the above areas. An undergraduate degree in accounting/finance is preferred, as is the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification. IFRS/US GAAP knowledge is beneficial. Knowledge of SAP R/3 (FI/CO) is required.
