Account Assistant Role

Reports to: Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Bank Reconciliations
- Preparation of weekly cash forecasts
- Revenue accounting and collection analysis – daily reconciliations, journal entries etc
- Debtor Invoicing
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly revenue reporting
- Credit Control
- Vat Returns and Vat Invoicing
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accuracy of the general ledger
- Balance Sheet reconciliation’s of relevant accounts
- Assist with the month-end management accounts close
- Assist in year-end audits
- Assist in special projects as assigned
Person Specification:
The successful candidate should have
- An accounting qualification – part qualified CIMA or ACCA (4/5 exams remaining)
- Industry related experience desired but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent excel skills – vlookups, pivot tables etc essential
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-motivator
- Good team player
- Quick learner
