Accounts Assistant recruitment
This is a varied role that will include:
- Accounts receivables / payable
- Preparing and posting invoices
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Travel Expense Accounting
- Control of Credit Cards and Exense reports
- Settlement of payments
- Cost distribution and control
- Preparing monthly reporting pack for Madrid
- Project work to include the implementation of a fiscal sub-ledger (transformation of IFRS to German GAAP / Tax Law)
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
- Strong Analytical skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently
- Self Motivated
- Team Player
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a finance department either in a financial institution or a commercial organisation. Prior experience in a financial accounting position is essential and knowledge of German Tax Law and German Commercial Code is a pre-requisite. Experience of Travel Expense accounting is also required.
Candidates must have good German and English skills, both written and spoken and Spanish would be an advantage but NOT essential.
