Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Junior Accountant is a critical part of the finance team. You will provide a range of accounting services to a portfolio of Clients preparing monthly management accounts, forecasts and payment of client invoices as directed by the senior accountant. Financial statements are to be prepared in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS where applicable.
Alongside further client services such as VAT and FSA regulatory returns and P11d’s, you will be responsible for ad-hoc project work on behalf of clients as directed by the senior accountant.
The successful candidate will be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a good working knowledge of MS Office and accountancy systems. They will be able to use their own initiative and ability to work through issues and problems.
