Accounts Manager
A leading property company with multiple sites around London and Europe are currently looking to recruit an accounts manager (with 2 direct reports) to join their growing finance team. Based in central London they are looking to hire a senior accounts manager who is either Qualified by experience or has stopped studying. This is an excellent opportunity to get stuck into a great role whilst adding or furthering your managerial skill too. Reporting to the Financial controller you will be responsible for the following;
· Control of supplier/sales invoice and credit control processing
· Perform month end processes and reconciliations, including adherence to reporting timetable, posting journals and prepayments/accruals
· Cash reporting, daily bank reconciliations and management/control of petty cash
· Control and maintenance of bank accounts and bank mandates
· Assist in preparation of equity calls, external debt drawdown's and distributions
· Tax compliance processes, including CIS and VAT returns
· Assist in preparing month end and year end reporting, including management and statutory reporting
· Support the Financial Controller with standard and ad hoc tasks
· Development, implementation and maintenance of processes and controls
· Business partnering with Operations and Development, including occasional travel to meet General Managers and site teams
· Oversee the day to day work of the Accounts Assistant
Ideal candidates will need to be experienced as stated above, but must also have experience in accounts payable/ receivable, cash management and reporting, whilst also having excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and customers as well as other parties. Candidates with a purchasing/ credit control qualification and or experience of CODA/ Dream accounting packages would be highly desirable (but is not essential). This is a very hands on opportunity to really go the extra mile - which will eventually allow the successful individual to grow and manage their own area.
