Accounts Manager AVP recruitment

Specific Duties:
• Oversee the preparation of the monthly linked and non-linked fund accounts by the off-shore accounts team.
• Manage the relationship with off-shore accounts team, regular meetings and formal recording and escalation of issues.
• Day to day liaison with the client on all matters, queries and issues and attendance at monthly service review meetings as required.
• Manage the preparation of, and review, of additional quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
• Manage the recruitment, development and motivation of staff
• Preparation of teams KPI’s
• Act as Accounts representative and support ad-hoc projects, as required

Work Parameters or Boundaries:
A sound knowledge of FSA regulation and compliance is required, as is understanding of taxation relating to investments.  The position is intended to equate to an FSA approved person role and the successful applicant will be expected to pass, or hold, the relevant Securities Institute Exams.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Specific Qualifications/Skills:
A recognised accountancy qualification is desirable.
Securities Institute Merit Award

Level of Education:
University graduate, or equivalent, and/or a professional accounting qualification desirable

Previous Level of Experience:
Proven experience in a senior role within an investment accounting environment with a detailed working knowledge of taxation relating to investments. 
Sound knowledge of FSA regulation and compliance
